We have 11 years of experience in providing hydroseeding services.

A brief history:

In 2014, we purchased our first piece of equipment - a BOWIE (USA), with which we started providing hydroseeding services. At that time we were operating as BASTEJI SIA, producing the highest quality pine bark mulch.

In 2015, we started to produce hydraulic mulch from pine bark mulch - a hydroseeding material for grass seeding. We have completed various projects in the area of Riga Airport, road construction, bridge slopes, as well as on private sites in Latvia and abroad.

In early 2024, a decision was taken to separate the production of pine bark mulch from the provision of hydroseeding services and the production of hydroseeding materials. Therefore, a new company "HIDROZĀLĀJS" Ltd. was established. In addition to the provision of hydroseeding services, we also produce hydroseeding material for purchase by companies and other interested parties. In this way our products were sold to companies in Norway, Sweden, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and Portugal. The materials produced by our company are recognized for their quality and are used for both green roofs and lawns in industrial and small, including private, areas.

We have carried out lawn growth tests with both paper mulch and pine bark mulch. We use wood fiber mulch as the main hydroseeding material, as the wood fiber mulch was found to be of better quality and also rated as better with obvious results when testing wood fiber and paper mulch.
